It is a fruity floral oriental scent that is targeted to her young audience. The perfume opens with the fresh citrus notes of apple, peach and bamboo which is followed by jasmine, freesia and Bulgarian rose. Purr by Katy Perry finally subsides to the oriental wood notes of vanilla orchid, white amber, sandalwood, coconut and musk.
Perry who is a fan of Gwen Stefani’s Harajuku Lovers fragrances has unabashedly followed Stefani’s marketing formulation closely with her figurine bottles. The Purr by Katy Perry collection has been released in enticing fun metallic lavender feline bottles with jeweled eyes. The bottles for Purr by Katy Perry were inspired from her own Catwoman stage costume.
